Having too much fun
Is there such a job where I can just sit and ink all day?

Yes there is! It’s called the (real surprise) “inker”. As far as I know, it’s generally kept to comics and graphic novels, but what you’ll basically do is take the pencillers sketches and put inks on them to save the penciller time from doing it him/herself.
It is one of the more unappreciated jobs and is down the popularity list, just above letterer, despite being incredibly important to the final looks of the pages. Great inks can correct mistakes, provide extra details, add shading, and other great stuff while bad inks can completely ruin any great pencils.
It goes back to what I’ve said a while back. Lineart is generally one of the most unappreciated aspects of art.

This. Colour and detail is nice and all, but nothing breaths like ink (except for some abstract works maybe).
